         First participation in the Norwalk Oyster Festival

         "Circuit Rider" stewardship program initiated; new carpet installed in the sanctuary

         The Reverend Sandra Myers appointed as our first woman pastor

         New brick sign erected in memory of Merkley Campbell

         Forty-year reunion of the Mother's Club, honoring the founder, Mildred Wien

         Organ chimes, altar, and PA system relocated

         "Cross and Flame" unit erected in memory of Julia Thompson

         100th anniversary of the Church building

         Dedication of the new Rogers organ

         Celebration for 75-year members

         Mission trip to Homestead, Florida to repair hurricane-damaged homes

         Bishop Mathews begins year-long celebration of the 125th anniversary of the congregation

         Bone Marrow/Blood Drive draws 400 people

  Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner served for the first time.

  25th year of participation at the Norwalk Oyster Festival

  Mission trips to Biloxi Mississippi to help with hurricane Katrina relief efforts
